11 Players accused of cheating at dozen casinos

11 players were accused of cheating a dozen casinos last Friday at San Diego.

The U.S. Justice Department confirmed that there were 11 defendants accused in alleged conspiracy to cheat 12 casinos. Each defendant was charged with one count of conspiracy to steal money and other property from tribal casinos, and to travel in interstate and foreign commerce in aid of racketeering.

The defendants were accused of bribing casino dealers and supervisors for performing false shuffles at tribal casino games like baccarat and blackjack to know the exact sequence of cards.

In addition, the defendants used transmitter devices and other software to predict the order of cards.

In case found guilty, all the 11 defendants are facing a maximum of 5 years prison sentence.
